WhiteLabelLinux Custom ISO Build Service
Last updated: 30 August 2026
1. Definitions
- “Service” means the WhiteLabelLinux online platform that automates customisation of open-source operating system ISO images.
- “User,” “you,” “your” means the individual or entity using the Service.
- “Materials” means all names, logos, images, artwork, prompts, text, fonts, or other content you upload, submit, or cause to be generated through the Service.
- “Output” means the customised ISO image or any files produced by the Service.
- “WhiteLabelLinux,” “we,” “us,” “our” means the operator of the Service.
2. Nature of the Service
WhiteLabelLinux provides a technical assembling and customisation service only. We do not own, licence, or claim any rights in the underlying open-source software, trademarks, or brands. We act solely on your instructions to apply your Materials to a standard Debian/KDE ISO. Nothing in the Service implies any affiliation with, endorsement by, or sponsorship of any third party.
3. User Eligibility and Acceptance
You must be at least 18 years old or have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. By using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.
4. User’s Responsibility for Materials
You represent and warrant that:
- you own or have obtained all necessary rights, licences, permissions, and consents for all Materials you submit or use;
- your Materials do not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights, including trademarks, copyrights, or trade secrets;
- your Materials do not violate any applicable law or regulation.
5. AI-Generated Content
If you use our AI generation features, you acknowledge that:
- AI-generated images may inadvertently resemble or reproduce third-party trademarks, logos, or copyrighted works;
- you are solely responsible for reviewing all AI output before it is incorporated into the final Output;
- you must not use the AI to reproduce or imitate any existing brand, logo, or trademark without explicit permission;
- WhiteLabelLinux does not guarantee that AI output is free of third-party rights and is not liable for any infringement arising from such content.
6. Licence to Process Materials
You grant WhiteLabelLinux a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, revocable, limited licence to store, reproduce, modify, and process your Materials solely for the purpose of providing the Service. This licence terminates when you delete your Materials or your account, except for copies retained for legal or backup purposes.
7. Scope of Customisation
The Service only changes user-customisable areas such as boot/GRUB images, desktop wallpapers, icons, start menu logos, and similar visual elements. We do not modify the underlying source code in a manner that would imply an official release of Debian, KDE, or any other project. The Output is provided “as is” and “as customised.”
8. No Affiliation or Endorsement
You agree not to use the Output in any way that suggests WhiteLabelLinux, Debian, KDE, or any other trademark owner endorses or sponsors your customised distribution, unless you have separate written permission. You must comply with the trademark policies of any third parties whose marks appear in the Output.
9. Indemnity
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless WhiteLabelLinux, its directors, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:
- your Materials;
- any AI-generated content incorporated into the Output;
- your use, distribution, sale, or promotion of the Output;
- any actual or alleged infringement of third-party intellectual property rights;
- your breach of these Terms.
10. Infringement Removal and Refusal
WhiteLabelLinux may, in its sole discretion, refuse to process, remove, or require the replacement of any Material that appears to infringe third-party rights or violate these Terms. We may suspend or cancel a build if we receive a credible complaint or legal notice regarding the Materials.
11. No Warranty and Limitation of Liability
THE SERVICE AND OUTPUT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WHITELABELLINUX SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF THE SERVICE OR OUTPUT.
12. Storage, Processing, and Privacy
You consent to WhiteLabelLinux storing, processing, and using your uploads, prompts, and generated artwork solely for the purpose of building the Output. Materials may be processed by third-party AI providers, whose data handling practices are outside our control. Please review our Privacy Policy for more details.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
16. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and WhiteLabelLinux regarding the Service.
